Had a reservation for 8pm on a weekday, the restaurant was super packed and lively. The food was really good, huge portions and super filling. The server was attentive despite it being packed and waters kept being refilled every other minute, I appreciate that. Overall, really nice spot for a date night or a family dinner. Bathroom is downstairs for anyone looking for it!

I visited the restaurant yesterday for the fifth time and I just realized there was a second floor. Food never disappoints and the Marilyn Monroe decor gave it an extra sparkle! Service is always good. This is my favorite Italian restaurant .

Amazing Italian restaurant! I sat down and they brought a free little plate of salami and cheese and tomato on toast, such a nice little treat. They also brought a massive bread basket so you know you're not going to leave hungry. I got the veal piccata with pasta. The veal was great and the pasta was fantastic. The marinara sauce was the perfect balance of light and flavorful. It doesn't look like much but it's probably one of my best marinara I've ever had. For dessert I got a chocolate truffle cake. It was super chocolately and yummy. Not the best cake but still pretty good. Wish this was closer to Manhattan but if I come back to Queens I'm coming here again!

Experiencing Park Side was such a treat. We had our couples dinner here a few weeks back and the food, service, ambiance and overall experience was just incredible. Our friend had made reservations weeks in advance and when we arrived we were seated on a corner are which was private and very comfortable for our dinner. We started off quicky with a few bottles of Caymus red wine and o course they brought over a basket full of delicious breads. We then ordered a few appetizers family style such as the Stuffed Mushrooms, Oysters & Fried Calamari. Oh and of course a Classic Caesar Salad to keep it healthy haha. For dinner we had a few dishes at the table all which were wonderfully prepared and full of flavor and fresh. We had the Fettuccine Alfredo Cream, Butter, Parmigiana & Imported Mascarpone Cheese, Filet Mignon with side of mashed potatoes, & Sauteed Filet of Gray Sole Meuniere White Wine, Lemon & Capers. Lets just say everyone was very happy and full from the delicious food. After dinner it was very sweet of the staff to bring out a dessert plate to celebrate a special occasion at our table. If your in the area or just want some authentic italian food this is the place to go for that, not Carbone, haha.

Definitely must call ahead for reservation because this restaurant is so popular and gets very busy. Food and service is unmatched and lower prices than other Italian restaurants nearby. Decor is a bit dated I'm willing to overlook due to their delicious menu.

I've been here twice and man is it delicious! First off the ambiance is awesome old school Italian feel. And there are name badges throughout the entire restaurant with members names ( I pretty cool) the food is delicious and tasty I recommend any of the pasta dishes. The service is always top notch little slow but that's what you should expect in a place where you relax enjoy and eat

Our favorite Italian restaurant in Queens. Valet parking, great service & delicious abundant selections. We've never been disappointed here. Johnny Depp & Robert DeNiro are some of the celebrity regulars here. In 1980, Parkside was founded by Anthony "Tough Tony" Federici, it was originally the Corona Supper Club opened by his parents in 1960. Federici was allegedly a capo in the Genovese crime family where he kept racing pigeons on the roof. In 2000, he was shooting at hawks with a shotgun & was arrested on charges of menacing and criminal weapons possession. Met friends for dinner after the US Open, it's only a mile away. Unfortunately, we thought they made reservations and they thought we made reservations. We did not have a reservation and the restaurant as always was busy. We are thrilled that they were able to squeeze us in. The bread basket with bruschetta, cheese, and meat came immediately with water, it was delicious. We shared the eggplant rollatini appetizer and manicotti Bolognese finishing it off with chocolate ganache cheesecake. Our meal was exceptional. We didn't leave a crumb. Friends devoured their veal & pasta dishes. Service as always was impeccable, we were not rushed and able to visit with friends.

Before Corona became the multi-enclave for all things Latin American, it was the Little Italy of Queens for a generation or two. Even as the demographics began shifting in the 1960s/70s, Park Side has remained through all the changes. This establishment doesn't just represent a different time in the borough, it is also considered a landmark, and one of the most significant Italian spots in NYC. I've been a regular here for years and have appreciated the old school charm and the good food / service. The place is deceivingly large, with dining rooms upstairs and so much seating that any group size could dine here with little issues. The ambiance is usually a mix of low lighting and plants sprinkled all throughout the main dining room. The well-dressed wait staff are always polite, with a little wiseguy humor and wittiness. From a food perspective, I think there is a lot to appreciate. Their complimentary bread basket, especially the one stuffed with prosciutto is rather addicting. They also make a chicken / veal parm the way it should be done, which is a tender slab with the right ratio of cheese and sauce. I also think their al dente pastas, in particular the rigatoni bolognese and rigatoni with lamb ragu are excellent. Their linguini marechiare is classic, but I think their linguine with clam sauce is actually better. I also vouch for their baked clams, broccoli rabe, and occasional steak. I also think they could certainly work on their pizzas, which were dry and unmemorable from my last visit. I'm not a fan of their stuffed artichoke or their shrimp scampi. The seafood is a gamble, especially the salmon, which has proven tougher than desired in later years and the calamari hasn't lived up to its usual standards. They offer valet parking and the vibes are still special occasion / date night worthy. I think the prices have been on the premium side for a long time and I certainly hope they continue to improve on their dishes while preserving the techniques for a regional style that is slowly fading away with every passing generation.
